About Us

Geneseo Veterinary Service was started in 1972 as a satellite clinic for Cambridge Veterinary Service in order to serve the needs of their Geneseo clients. Over the next 30 years, the Geneseo office gradually transitioned from being a satellite clinic to becoming the main office for the practice. On June 1, 2013, Dr. Grant Venema purchased the practice from Dr. Roger Pray when Dr. Pray retired.

We are a full service mixed animal practice (which means we treat pets and farm animals). Most large animal work is done on the farm, while pets are seen in our office. Contact us today to learn more about what we can do for you and your animals!

Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy. We proudly service the Geneseo, Atkinson, Annawan, Kewanee, and Colona area.
